but I loved it so much there was no way I was not going to rescue it

Can one ever have too many pretty boxes--handily storing odds and ends whole looking great doing it

Plenty of scrapes and scratches and a little rusting

And then this pastel-hued wonderful paint-job

And with the white patch below its chin seeming rather like a long white beard of widsom! 8 3 8" x 3 13 16" x 1 2" and in good vintage condition, with some paint loss along the edges and on the reverse, as documented.
